I am originally from South Africa and am of Indian descent, however, I have spent most of my early years living in Switzerland, Italy, and the United States. Through moving within my childhood years, I have experienced a myriad of cultural differences which led me to possess an interest in history, culture, and society. I have a great passion for political science and government as well as Bharatanatyam dance. In my free time I enjoy traveling, creative writing, debate, and mock trial.

I am a big fan of playing chess I used to do it as a club. I have been playing the piano for over 8 years now and I have found it to be fun and relaxing. I also play a lot of tennis and I have played at various tennis tournaments that were hosted in Brookline. Although, My favorite activity to participate in would be model g20 due to real world experience it gives me.

I moved to Boston 4 years ago after living in Singapore for my entire life. There was a big culture difference, this is why in the inquiry I want to focus on culture most prominently. Going from completely opposite cultures and lifestyles, I met a lot of diverse people with different views and backgrounds. I spend my time outside of academics skateboarding and I am in multiple sport teams within and outside of school. I wish to share my diverse background with the school community.

I hope to attend university for musical theatre, as the arts are my passion and something I hope to write about in the future with Bulldog Inquirer. I have been a dancer for 15 years and enjoy furthering my knowledge by taking HL Film and HL Theatre courses in the IB.

My passion has always been dance, but I have varied hobbies, such as, swimming, reading, gymnastics, and yoga. I’m quite an introverted person, but I’m hardworking and I love to try new things.

I frequently read various news sources during my free time, so I can be cognizant and aware of consequential events but also because I find current affairs fascinating. Outside of reading the news, I do have other hobbies. Although they have been postponed or significantly restrained due to the coronavirus pandemic. One thing I enjoy right now is watching TV, and I also read sometimes, which has helped me escape the circumstances of life during the pandemic.

I grew up in Solihull, West Midland UK and attended Bentley Heath CofE primary school. When I was 11, I moved with my family to Massachusetts, USA. There I attended the British International school of Boston. In relation to school I co-create the middle school kahoots/caption contests and weekly discussions as well as participate in the clubs: DofE, MUN, BISB HSQS, Newspaper club, History Bowl, AfA and part of the Tanzania fundraising team. Outside of school my hobbies include: Chess, reading and largely as my friends will testify debating.

I was born in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Boston with my family when I was 10 months old. I went to public school and recently joined BISB for High School. The year 2020 has sparked my curiosity about social injustices, especially racism. I’m fascinated with different cultural traditions, different people, and different cuisines around the world. Outside of my studies, I love to do care-free sketching, journaling/scrapbooking, baking, traveling, and playing competitive ice hockey. I have a huge soft spot for animals and handicapped children.

I've also been doing ballet for 10 years and I enjoy passing the time by listening to music. I'm like a turtle, but once I've come out of my shell, I'm pretty chill.

I was a very passionate and hardworking student in the IB. After my realization that BISB did not have a student newspaper, I put my experience in journalism into action by founding The Bulldog Inquirer. I aim for The Bulldog Inquirer to unite the school community around different issues and topics. Outside of the newspaper, I am also dedicated to supporting younger students through the non-profit tutoring organization I founded, Study Buddy Tutoring, and through the Indian language and culture school I volunteer at. I am big into basketball and play it competitively all year around. I am passionate about politics, economics, and business.

I spent my childhood around Europe and moved to the United States with my parents and sister when I was 7. I am an aspiring writer, artist, soccer player, entrepreneur and fashionista. I also have a big heart for animals and the environment. I love to travel, especially to Thailand and Italy where the rest of my family live. I have been to over 20 countries across most of the continents so far, and travel journalism is a big interest of mine. I as well love learning the culture of every place I spend time in to help me grow into a better person with an open mind.

I'm originally from Jordan and Germany. I'm 17 years old (I happen to be one of the youngest people in my year group) and have always had a passion for writing. In my spare time, I enjoy playing the guitar (as I have for the past 10 years), reading, hiking with my family, and really working on just about whatever interests me at the moment.

I only recently moved to the US from Norway and BISB has been a very welcoming community to join. As a very curious and verbose person, I have joined clubs such as the Tanzania group and Model United Nations. I like reading and writing and learning new languages. My favourite colour is orange, but surprisingly, my favourite fruits are strawberries.

Originally Dutch I lived in various places, from, USA, to Spain and recently moved to Boston from Singapore. I have always been involved in school projects and fundraisers. In my spare time, I enjoy developing my interest in photography, business, cooking, sport, and more. Next year I hope to expand my business and cooking interest as I have been accepted to the Hotel Management School of Maastricht in The Netherlands.
